Description:  This 6-step jig is a basic routine that has simple, repetitive steps. You will use all the basic techniques of step dancing, including the shuffle, hop, heel, stomp, toe, and flap. This routine allows you to get a good grasp of the jig rhythm and get you up dancing in no time! (It is recommended to learn this jig once you have tried out ‘Beginner Reel #1’ and ‘Intro to Ottawa Valley Step Dancing- The Basics’.) This group/routine includes the following videos:
